Proteinase - A proteolytic enzyme that is able to resist the stomach's acidity, creating a Vitalzym blend with up to twice the systemic potency as the original Vitalzym. Studies of the enzyme show that this allows for even better reduction of inflammation.

Bromelain - A plant-derived proteolytic enzyme most noted for its effectiveness in the reduction of inflammation and swelling. It may reduce the swelling that causes joint pain.

Serrapeptase - A highly fibrinolytic enzyme that can digest dead tissue, blood clots and cysts. Blocks the release of pain-inducing amines from inflamed tissues. Used throughout Europe and Asia as an alternative to salicylates, ibuprofen and other NSAIDS.

Amylase and Lipase - Digestive enzymes that break down carbohydrates and fats, respectively.

Papain - Another plant-derived proteolytic enzyme used to treat edemas, inflammatory processes, and indigestion. Also used in hospitals to accelerate healing, treat ulcers, and reduce swelling, fever, and adhesions after surgery

Rutin - A flavonoid that supports health by strengthening capillaries and other connective tissue

Amla - Known as the Indian gooseberry, Amla is the richest source of Vitamin C. It also contains tannic acid, glucose, protein, cellulose and calcium. It is used for stomach problems and anemia.
