CHRONIC FATIGUE - Facts and Fantasy

EXHAUSTION - HEADACHES - INABILITY TO CONCENTRATE - DEPRESSION - JOINT PAIN - SORE THROAT - MOOD SWINGS - WEIGHT LOSS - LOW GRADE FEVER - UNRELENTING FATIGUE . . . These are the symptoms associated with a condition popularly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Such an important-sounding disease. Where does it come from?

People who suffer from chronic fatigue have very little to give, but this is a direct reflection of the state of their immune system. Yes, there are many circumstances that can make one ill. Immunization shots when we are young can actually weaken us. Over-the-counter and prescription medications can do the same. Add to that list illegal drugs, alcohol and cigarettes, and the train-loads of chemicals we ingest in our food, water, and air, and what do we create? Toxemia and malnutrition.

Today's "normal" diet consists of food that has been grown in soil that is rich in chemicals yet lacking in minerals. It is true that we have much to eat, but there is frightening little nutrients left in it. In response to an overall lack of nutrition, we turn to stimulants such as coffee, sugar, junk food, and alcohol in order to create any sense of energy and sustenance. BUT . . . these are actually toxic substances.

They enter the system and the liver is sent into hyperactivity in an attempt to filter out and remove the toxins and poison, which, in turn, speeds up your metabolism. This process demands a short, yet tremendously large, energy capacity that is stolen from the cells and the immune system. The result? The rest of your body feels fatigued because the energy banks of your body have been depleted. The more this cycle of "ineffective" diet continues, the more fatigued you become, at the cellular level.

This is naturally going to be reflected in your mental, physical, and spiritual make-up. This vicious circle creates an immune system that becomes seriously ineffective, and a body that is running on empty.

Acidosis is the basis of the depleted condition of our bodies. The acidosis causes imbalances within our organs, digestive tract, and our cells.
When this happens, parasites, bad bacteria, fungi, and viruses will take over our bodies because our resistance is down.

We know the air we breathe is toxic (acidic) and the air in our house, if it is an old one, may harbour toxic (acidic) chemicals and mold. A new home will give off acidic gases for about 7 years!! If you live in an apartment complex, you get to breathe the air of 99 different families along with the gassing off of carpets and building materials. All of these conditions create acidic air.

Consider also the water you drink and bathe in. It is filled with an array of acidic chemicals, including fluoride and chlorine. Remember that water is our most precious food. It must be fresh, chemical-free, rich in oxygen and minerals, and in an alkaline state. How many people still drink water directly from the tap when we now know what's in it? How many people drink distilled or reverse osmosis water, knowing that these waters are dead and acidic. They lack oxygen and alkaline minerals and they need ionization for proper absorption by the body at the cellular level.

Why must we drink adequate amounts of proper therapeutic water?

  • Our bodies are 70% water.
  • Because the water we put in carries our nutrition to the deepest cellular levels and carries off toxins (that rob your body of its vitality, lead to serious disease, and even death).
  • Water substitutes such as coffee, tea, pop, and alcohol must first be filtered and purified by our bodies before they can be adequately used for proper hydration and toxin removal.
One of the most common reasons for poor health among children is chronic dehydration. Many children drink very little water. Often they drink only pop and sweetened, artificially flavoured drinks. This puts a load on the immune system and pollutes rather than cleanses their kidneys. We ALL need to drink adequate amounts (1 to 1-1/2 liters) of alkaline ionized water daily.

To summarize the causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- a body high in acid is low in oxygen,
and a body low in oxygen is a tired one.


Our ancestors never knew of Chronic Fatigue. Why? Because nature was still supplying the vital ingredients. This is why we must supplement our diets with proper nutrition, water, and proper cleansing to relieve our bodies of toxic waste.

The recent increase in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia is being linked to chronic lack of adequate rest. Sleep is the time when the body rebuilds, rejuvenates, and heals damaged tissue. If adequate resting time is not allowed consistently, deterioration and aging will accelerate.


DIET RECOMMENDATIONS:

Avoid sugar, dairy, processed foods. Eat fresh raw vegetables and fruits (cooking depletes critical digestive enzymes). Drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses of PURE WATER daily. Try to eat and alkaline-acid balanced diet (75% alkaline, 25% acid).
