Doctors who utilize the Biological
Terrain Assessment (BTA) machine in evaluating patients utilizing

through four definite stages:

Detoxification is

Evaluation Studies
of Microhydrin®

Royal BodyCare is conducting an ongoing
series of laboratory and clinical studies designed to evaluate the
nutritional characteristics and benefits of Microhydrin® as a
mineral antioxidant. The following is a brief summary of the results
of studies completed as of December 31, 1998.
Because this data may be included in papers
submitted for publication in peer reviewed journals, and because
their work load does not permit time to answer numerous inquiries,
scientists conducting the studies asked RBC not to publish their
names and institutions. However, the complete reports are on file at
Royal BodyCare headquarters, and will be available, for review by
appropriate government regulators.
EVALUATION OF MICROHYDRIN® AS A SCAVENGER OF FREE RADICALS
Tests on Microhydrin® were conducted
using electronic spin resonance (ESR) by a scientist who specializes
in the evaluation of antioxidants at a major university. The
following is quoted from the test report:
"We have made a thorough investigation of
the antioxidant activity of Microhydrin® by several experimental
methods." "Hydroxyl radical scavenging activity was found in two
different Microhydrin® preparations provided."
"Our conclusions are that Microhydrin®
has antioxidant activity towards hydroxyl radicals. Hydroxyl radicals
are among the most dangerous of oxygen free radicals that occur in
biological systems. They are the same type of radicals that can be
produced by exposure to ionizing radiation. Therefore it can be
stated that Microhydrin® has antioxidant activity in this
regard."
EVALUATION OF MICROHYDRIN® AS A SCAVENGER OF FREE RADICALS - Report II
Tests on Microhydrin® were conducted by
a scientist who also specializes in the evaluation of antioxidants at
a separate major university. The following is quoted from the test
report:
"When assayed in the 'standard' assay for
superoxide dismutase activity based upon the reduction of cytochrome
c by xanthine (see J. Biol. Chem. 244: 6049-6055, 1969),
Microhydrin® showed two characteristics:
"When assayed with an alternative method
based on the ability of superoxide to oxidize epinephrine to
adrenochrome, Microhydrin® also showed its ability to scavenge
the superoxide radical and inhibit the process."
THE HEIDELBERG TEST
Leonard Smith, MD, Medical Director for RBC,
conducted the Heidelberg Test on himself at a clinic in order to
determine the effect of Microhydrin® on stomach acid. The
Heidelberg Test utilizes a tiny radio transmitter in a capsule, which
measures and transmits the pH of its environment.
Dr. Smith swallowed the capsule and waited
10 minutes to establish the baseline pH. The radio transmitter
indicated a pH of 1.0 typical of stomach acid. He then swallowed a
Microhydrin® capsule with a small amount of water. According to
the technician, a momentary blip in the pH was a normal indication of
water reaching the stomach. The stomach normally empties in about 30
to 45 minutes. After 45 minutes the pH rose to 6 indicating,
according to the technician, that the capsule had reached the small
intestine. The conclusion from this test was that Microhydrin® in
its vegetable capsule, when taken with water, does not release
significantly while in the stomach, and does not alkalize stomach
acid.
EVALUATION OF LIPID PEROXIDES IN HUMANS TAKING MICROHYDRIN®
Five subjects were given six
Microhydrin® per day for five days. An independent clinical
laboratory analyzed lipid peroxides using HPLC methods on each
subject before and after Microhydrin® supplementation. The MD
conducting the trial observed no substantial change in lipid
peroxides and no adverse side effects during the supplementation
period.
PRE-CLINICAL TRIAL WITH HUMAN SUBJECT TAKING MICROHYDRIN®
A controlled clinical trial showed that in
eight normal adult subjects, seven of the nine Biological Terrain
Assessment parameters improved. Saliva pH, saliva rH2, blood
resistivity, and urine resistivity showed statistically significant
improvement (p ¾ 0.05) for these eight subjects after 18 days of
supplementation with four Microhydrin® per day on a schedule of
one in the morning, two at midday and one in the evening. Three other
parameters (urine pH, urine rH2, and saliva resistivity) also showed
improvements over the 18-day supplementation period when their
averaged changes were calculated.
Blood pH and blood rH2 were the only
parameters that did not change during the supplementation period.
These values may not change as readily due to the heterogeneous and
stable nature of blood. The nutritionists and physicians who
monitored the study with Biological Terrain Assessment results and
other clinical data observed no adverse side effects in the group
during the supplementation period.

WHAT'S IN MICROHYDRIN?
Each capsule of Microhydrin contains 250 mg. of Nanocollodial silica (in the form of a new technology called Flanagan Microcluster) which are then combined with hydrogen atoms in a powdered hydride form where each hydrogen atom has been modified to contain a loosely bound extra electron.
WHAT DOES MICROHYDRIN DO FOR ME NUTRITIONALLY?

HOW DOES MICROHYDRIN NUTRITION WORK

UNFRIENDLY BACTERIA AND VIRUSES
Scientists have known for years that certain bacteria and viruses can only flourish in a very narrow pH (acid-alkaline) range. Since unfriendly bacteria and viruses prefer a slightly acidic environment for rapid growth (which is what makes us sick), the biochemical challenge has always been to find a way to change the pH levels inside our cells to a slightly more alkaline range, without upsetting other important intracellular biochemical reactions. Since available hydrogen is what determines pH levels (pH is a symbol for "power of Hydrogen"), Microhydrin stable hydrogen molecular structure, combined with Microcluster technology, allows hydrogen to enter each of our cells, creating a slightly alkaline terrain which dramatically limits the ability of unfriendly bacteria and viruses to grow.
ANTIOXIDANT NUTRITION
It is now well documented in scientific literature that our polluted and stress-filled environment has dramatically increased the number of free radicals, or unstable atoms, in our bodies. These excessive free radicals and the damage they cause to our intracellular RNA and DNA has been clearly linked to many chronic degenerative diseases like cancer, heart disease, strokes, Alrheimer's and many others as well as the acceleration of the aging process.
Because each molecule of Microhydrin is many thousands of times smaller, and therefore more numerous in each capsule than say, each molecule in a capsule of any other antioxidant that you use now (for example, vitamin C or E), and because any single molecule of any antioxidant can only contribute one electron to neutralize or render harmless, each free radical it comes in contact with, you can see that many thousands of times more damaging free radicals will be neutralized with each capsule of Microhydrin you eat compared to each capsule of any other antioxidant you're now using.
INTRACELLULAR OXYGENATION
Adequate amount of oxygen inside each of our cells is necessary for the many life-giving biochemical processes that occur there. Unfortunately, many
people suffer from intracellular hypoxia- or inadequate amounts of oxygen to fuel the cell's metabolism. Many of these
people have adequate amounts of oxygen circulating in their bloodstream, but because of various nutritional deficiencies, this oxygen is unable to enter the cell where it is needed. Often this intracellular hypoxia is seen in
people suffering from various chronic degenerative diseases like arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Here's how Microhydrin helps. As each molecule of Microhydrin is digested and enters the bloodstream, it quickly does its antioxidant job by contributing it's loosely bound extra electron, thereby neutralizing a harmful free radical. In this new biochemical configuration, Microhydrin has a very strong biochemical affinity to bind any available oxygen molecules in the blood. Because of the increased cellular absorption made possible by Microcluster technology, this new molecular structure, (an atom of hydrogen bound to an oxygen molecule), is literally sucked into the cell where it can immediately go to work.
QUESTIONS MOST OFTEN ASKED ABOUT MICROHYDRIN
1. HAVE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OR TOXIC LEVELS OF MICROHYDRIN BEEN OBSERVED?
While no contraindications or toxic levels of Microhydrin have been observed in the initial clinical trials, reasonable caution should be taken, as with any nutritional supplement.
There is no reason to believe that any complications will arise with the use of Microhydrin during pregnancy, in children, or with pets.
As with the addition of any Super Food to your diet, consuming Microhydrin may allow your body to begin a natural detoxification. Although detoxification occurred at a lower than expected rate, patients in the clinical trials did experience some mild detox symptoms. These individuals were taken off the Microhydrin for one day, started on increased water (6-8 ounces each hour) for one to two days and then restarted with the Microhydrin.
SPECIAL NOTICE:
It must be noted that during early clinical trials some patients reported that Microhydrin seem to have a synergistic or magnifying effect with their prescription medications, indicating that it may be possible to reduce the dosage of a prescription medication and obtain the same outcome. As with all supplements, it is important to check with your health care provider before you change prescribed dosage on any mediations or supplements prescribed to you by your doctor.
It should be particularly noted that some insulin dependent diabetic patients involved in the anecdotal clinical trials found that they had to reduce-sometimes significantly reduce-their daily insulin injections. Again, it must be stressed that it is very important to consult closely with your health care provider before beginning a supplement program or modifying your prescribed dosages.
2. WHEN I TAKE MICROHYDRIN, DO I NEED TO TAKE MY OTHER SUPER FOODS AND PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS?
Microhydrin is designed to work WITH and in fact, enhance the beneficial effects of the other nutritional supplements and medications you are already taking. It's important to note that your body repairs or replaces literally BILLIONS of cells every day and because of this we all need a broad array of Super Food nutrients every day. 3. HOW DOES MICROHYDRIN KILL THE "BAD BACTERIA WITHOUT KILLING THE GOOD" BACTERIA?
The biological terrain or the "friendly" zone, preferred by "good" bacteria, (the bacteria our intestines must have in adequate amounts to keep us healthy and absorb nutrition-like acidophilous, bifidus, bulgaris and others) is biochemically very different than the terrain preferred by "bad" bacteria (the bacteria that makes us sick, called "enterotoxins" like gram negative e. coli, shigella, staphylococal enterotoxin, clostridium and escherichia coli, the bacteria that causes stomach flu, as well as others.)
Put simply, the bad bacteria prefers a slightly more acid environment and the blood bacteria prefers a slightly more alkaline environment. The hydrogen in Microhydrin, upon entering the cell, causes a pH shift to a slightly more alkaline environment, thereby discouraging the growth of the bad bacteria.
4. HOW SOON CAN I EXPECT RESULTS?
As with all nutritional supplements, the results you enjoy from taking the Microhydrin will vary from person to person. However, in my clinical experience, I've never seen a faster acting or more powerful nutritional supplement than Microhydrin. Most of my
clients in the anecdotal clinical trials reported, at the very least, a noticeable increase of energy within 15 to 20 minutes.
Patients in the clinical trials with acute infections typically saw significant results within 24 to 48 hours.
People with chronic degenerative diseases like fibromyalgia and arthritis would typically report symptomatic improvements in three to seven days.
People with circulatory deficiencies like mild angina, lower extremities swelling and
clients with respiratory insufficiencies like emphysema, bronchitis and asthma, typically reported improvement in two to ten days.
